You must show proof of sufficient funds for your student visa. Requirements differ by country:

Germany:
- Blocked account (Sperrkonto): Deposit €11,904 for one year before applying. Submit the blocking confirmation with your visa application.
- Alternative proofs: Parental income documents with a formal support letter, a sponsor’s obligation letter (if the sponsor is in Germany), or a scholarship award letter.
- All financial documents must be recent, consistent, and clearly show your ability to fund your stay.

Italy:
- Proof of funds: Show about €10,180/year via recent bank statements (last 3-6 months) from you or your sponsor.
- Include a notarized affidavit or declaration of financial support, sponsor’s income proof, and scholarship letters if applicable.
- Receipts for prepaid tuition or accommodation can strengthen your application.
- Non-English/Italian/French documents may need official translation.
