You must have an unconditional offer letter from a UK university before applying for a UK student visa. Only after meeting all conditions will you receive a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), which is required for your visa application.

For financial documents:
- Proof of funds is mandatory: show enough money for one year’s tuition (as per your CAS) plus living expenses (£1,329/month for London, £1,023/month outside London, for up to 9 months; subject to change).
- Funds must be held in a recognized bank account for at least 28 consecutive days before your application.
- Acceptable evidence includes personal bank statements, education loan sanction letters, or a sponsor’s documents (with consent and proof of relationship).
- Cash deposits only count if held in a bank account and reflected in official statements meeting UKVI requirements.

All documents must be official, consistent, and verifiable.
