There is generally no formal visa interview for a UK student visa. However, you must attend a biometric appointment for fingerprints and a photograph. You may be asked basic questions about your study plans and finances at this appointment, so be ready to explain your course choice and funding.

Key documents you need to submit:

- Valid passport (for your entire stay)
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your UK university
- Proof of financial means (bank statements, loan/scholarship letters, funds held for at least 28 days)
- English language test scores (such as IELTS for UKVI, if required)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test certificate (mandatory for Indian applicants)
- Academic documents (transcripts, certificates)
- Visa application fee and Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) receipts
- Parental consent and proof of relationship (if under 18)
- ATAS certificate (if your course requires it)
- Certified translations (if any documents are not in English)

Requirements are subject to change.
