Visa application fees and police verification processes differ for the UK and Spain.

UK:
- Visa fee: £524 (standard service; higher for priority options)
- Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): £776/year (subject to change)
- Police clearance: Usually required; obtain a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from your local police station or Passport Seva Kendra

Spain:
- Visa fee: €150
- Residence authorization fee: €60
- Police clearance: National-level criminal background check for the past five years, apostilled and translated into Spanish

Both countries require you to submit an online application, provide biometric data, and submit supporting documents such as your passport, admission letter, proof of funds, and police clearance.

Visa fees and requirements are subject to change.
