If your spouse is not allowed to accompany you on a UK Master's degree Student visa, their main option is to apply for a Standard Visitor visa. This allows visits of up to 6 months but does not permit work or long-term stay.

- Standard Visitor visa: Valid for short visits (up to 6 months), no work rights, and cannot be converted to a dependant visa from within the UK.
- Graduate Route (post-study work visa): After you finish your degree, you may be eligible for the Graduate Route, which can allow your spouse to join you as a dependant during your post-study work period (subject to change).
