What are the nomination and application deadlines for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship for September 2027 entry that I should note?

For September 2027 entry, you need to meet three separate dates: 9 October 2026 for your high school nomination, 16 October 2026 for your University of Toronto admission application, and 6 November 2026 for the Pearson Scholarship application.

Pearson Scholarship Deadlines

What to Do Before Each Date

Before 9 October 2026:

• Speak with your school counsellor, principal or head of school.
• Confirm that your school can nominate a student.
• Ask your school to submit the nomination on time.

Before 16 October 2026:

• Choose your intended undergraduate programme or programmes.
• Review the programme admission requirements.
• Submit your University of Toronto admission application.

Before 6 November 2026:

• Check your email for the private scholarship application link.
• Complete the scholarship application.
• Submit all required information and supporting documents.

My Advice

Missing any one of the three dates can end your chances, so put all of them in your calendar today. Confirm the dates on the University of Toronto's official Pearson Scholarship page before you submit anything.
