Most universities in Dubai, the UK, New Zealand, and Germany require proof of English language proficiency through recognized tests. The main test options and typical score ranges are:

- IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 5.5 - 6.5 for Dubai, 6.0 - 7.0 for the UK, 6.0 - 6.5 for New Zealand, and 6.0 - 6.5 for Germany.
- TOEFL iBT: Scores generally range from 61 - 79 (Dubai), 72 - 85 (UK), 60 - 90 (New Zealand), and 80 - 100 (Germany).
- PTE Academic: Scores between 51 - 58 (Dubai), 50 - 68 (UK), 50 - 58 (New Zealand), and 55 - 65 (Germany).

Some universities may waive the test if your previous education was in English and you provide a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate. Requirements and accepted tests vary by institution and are subject to change.
