Yes, the APS (Akademische Prüfstelle) certificate is mandatory for Indian students applying to German universities, and some programs may also require GMAT or BMAT scores.

APS Certificate requirements:
- Completed APS application form
- Valid passport (first and last pages)
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Bachelor's degree certificate and all semester mark sheets
- Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from your university
- Course curriculum/syllabus for your Bachelor's degree
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Proof of APS processing fee payment (₹18,000, subject to change)

APS processing typically takes 4 - 8 weeks. As of March 2026, a minimum of 70% in Class 12 is needed for undergraduate applicants.

GMAT/BMAT:
- GMAT: Required for some business or management Master's programs. Check if your chosen course asks for it. - BMAT: Only needed for certain medical-related programs.

Requirements for GMAT/BMAT depend on the specific university and course.
