Public Versus Private Schools
- Fresher-friendly options exist: some universities offer specialised MBAs or Masters in Management that accept zero work experience.
- Private business schools may waive the GMAT if you have extensive experience (usually 5+ years) or an excellent GPA.
- Public universities have very low or no tuition but strict 1 to 3 year experience norms and very high competition. Private schools charge about EUR 10,000 (approx INR 10.84 L) to EUR 40,000 (approx INR 43.38 L) and are more flexible on experience.
My Advice
Decide first whether you want a public or private route, because that changes your work experience and GMAT needs. Start your APS application early, as it is typically required for Indian applicants, mainly for the visa. Confirm exact cut-offs on each university's official page.
