Canada, Ireland, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand are currently among the most student-friendly countries for Indian applicants besides the UK.

- Canada: Strong Indian community, generous post-study work visa (up to 3 years), but recent study permit rejection rates are high (subject to change).
- Ireland: High visa approval rate (about 90%), up to 2 years post-study work visa, and considered safe for students.
- Germany: Very high visa approval rate (about 98%), low or no tuition at public universities, and 18 months post-study work visa.
- Australia: Good post-study work options (2 - 4 years), high minimum wage, but stricter visa approval process for Indian students.
- New Zealand: High visa approval rate (85 - 90%), up to 3 years post-study work visa, and known for student safety.

Visa rules and work rights are subject to change.
