Can you tell me more about studying in Japan, including course duration and band score requirements for a Master's?
→A masters in Japan typically takes 2 years and needs a minimum of 30 credits across coursework and thesis research. English-taught programs generally need an IELTS band of 6.0 to 6.5, rising to 6.5 to 7.0 at top universities like Tokyo, or a TOEFL iBT of 80 plus.
Are there any options for studying in Japan and what about the language requirements for a Master's?
→Yes, Japan has strong options for a Master's degree, and you do not need fluency in Japanese to pursue one. Universities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Waseda and Keio offer programs taught entirely in English, needing only an IELTS or TOEFL score, while Japanese-taught programs require JLPT N1 proficiency.
