Yes, both the UK and the US are open and remain strong study destinations for Indian students.

- UK: No visa restrictions currently apply to Indian students. However, for master's programs starting January 2027, the post-study work visa (Graduate Route) will be reduced to 18 months (down from 2 years). PhD graduates will still receive 3 years. - US: The US remains open, but there are proposals to shift student visas to a fixed 4-year duration (not yet implemented). Recent years have seen a higher visa rejection rate for Indian applicants.
