- Taught master's programs (like MSc, MA, MBA): You cannot bring your spouse as a dependant unless you are a government-sponsored student.
- Research-based master's or PhD: You can bring your spouse as a dependant.
- Government-sponsored students: If your course is over six months, you may be eligible to bring your spouse.
If eligible, you'll need to show sufficient funds for both of you - £845/month (London) or £680/month (outside London) for up to 9 months, in addition to your own maintenance funds.
