It depends on the country.

- Germany: No medical test is required for the student visa, but you must have valid health insurance from the first day. Public health insurance typically costs EUR 110/month; private options start at EUR 40-80/month.
- UK: A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for student visa applicants from India. This involves a chest X-ray at an approved clinic and is valid for six months.
