No, the BMAT exam is not compulsory from 2027, nor is it starting up then. BMAT was discontinued after 2023 and is no longer used for admissions.

Instead, Germany will introduce a new exam called the Digital Master Test (dMAT) for certain Master's applicants from India starting in the Summer Semester 2027. The dMAT is different from the BMAT and applies only to specific fields like Engineering, Business, and Finance.
