No, the BMAT exam is not required for admissions to German universities. The BMAT was discontinued in 2024 and was mainly used for medical school admissions in the UK, not Germany.
For Germany, some master's programs in Engineering, Business, or Finance may require the new Digital Master Test (dMAT) starting from Summer Semester 2027, but this is a different exam. Other countries like the UK or the Netherlands also do not require the BMAT for master's admissions.
