Is it better to do a one-year master's in the UK or a two-year master's in Australia or the USA?

Choose a one-year master's in the UK if you want to finish faster and reduce costs. Opt for a two-year master's in Australia or the USA if you prefer more in-depth study and extra time for research or internships.

- UK (1 year): Intensive, lets you join the workforce sooner, and is generally more cost-effective.
- USA/Australia (2 years): Offers extended coursework, greater research and internship opportunities, but costs more and takes longer.

If your priority is a quicker return on investment and entering the job market sooner, the UK is usually better. For a deeper academic experience or more practical training, the USA or Australia may be preferable.
