Is it advisable to write CAT as an alternate plan if I get a good percentile in UK for a Master's?

No, writing the CAT is not useful for UK master's admissions. The CAT is only recognized for management programs in India and is not accepted by UK universities.

For master's programs in the UK, focus on your undergraduate grades, relevant work experience, and English language proficiency. If you're applying for business-related courses, you may need the GMAT or GRE, and you'll need to take an English test like IELTS or TOEFL.

If you want an alternate plan, consider exams required by your target countries. For UK admissions, the CAT will not strengthen your application.
