Is data science a feasible course for me without having studied maths in 12th for a Master's?
It depends. Most Master's in Data Science programs require a strong background in mathematics, often including modules like calculus, linear algebra, and statistics, typically covered in 12th grade or during your undergraduate studies.
With your background in Pharmacy, you may not meet the standard maths prerequisites for direct entry. However, some universities offer preparatory or bridge courses in mathematics to help students from non-mathematics backgrounds qualify. Completing online courses or certifications in maths, statistics, or programming can also strengthen your application and prepare you for the program.
If you are interested in Data Science, consider universities with flexible entry requirements or bridge programs, and discuss suitable options with your LeapScholar counsellor.
