If the funds are from a business, how should they be shown for visa purposes in UK/Ireland?

It depends. Using business funds for a UK or Ireland student visa is complex and often not accepted unless strict conditions are met.

Visa authorities usually require funds to be in your name or a close family member's name. If you plan to use business funds, you must provide:

- Business bank statements showing the required amount held for at least 28 consecutive days. - Proof of ownership or control of the business (such as registration certificates). - Official letter from the business confirming the funds are available for your studies. - Recent financial statements or tax returns to prove the business’s legitimacy.

Visa rules are subject to change and requirements can be strict. Speak with your LeapScholar counsellor for guidance on preparing your documents.
