If I want to pursue LLM again, what are the English language test (IELTS) requirements and other criteria in UK?

It depends on the university, but most UK LLM programs require:

- IELTS Academic: Typically an overall score of 6.5 (with no band below 6.0). Some universities may accept 6.0 overall.
- Academic record: Usually a minimum of a 2:2 or 2:1 in your previous law degree (often 60-65%+). Your LLB score of 57.37% may not meet the higher cutoff at some universities.
- Personal statement and academic references are required.
- Relevant work experience can strengthen your application, especially if your academic score is borderline.
- Some universities may waive the English test if your prior degree was taught in English, but this is not guaranteed.

Requirements vary by university and are subject to change.
