If I want to apply for the September intake but miss it, can I apply for the January intake instead in Germany?

No, Germany does not have a standard January intake for most universities. The main intakes are the Winter Semester (October) and Summer Semester (April).

If you miss the September (Winter) intake, your next option is usually the April (Summer) intake. A few private universities may offer January or early-year intakes, but these are rare and have separate deadlines.
