If I receive a scholarship, can I be 100% sure to pursue my studies abroad for a Master's?
No, receiving a scholarship does not guarantee you can study abroad. Most scholarships require you to first secure admission to your chosen university. For example, the DAAD scholarship is only valid if you are admitted to the specified host university.
Also, many scholarships do not cover all expenses. For instance, the Commonwealth Master's Scholarship covers tuition, living stipend, and airfare, but not application fees, visa fees, or the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).
You’ll need both a scholarship and university admission, and should plan for any costs not included in your scholarship. If you need help understanding your options, connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
