You can accept a job offer while doing your research in the UK, but you must follow your Student visa work restrictions. You can work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during term and full-time only during official vacation periods.
To start full-time work under a Skilled Worker visa, you need to complete your course and apply for the new visa before your Student visa expires. You cannot begin full-time work immediately unless your course is finished and your Skilled Worker visa application is submitted or approved.
