It depends on the language of instruction for your master's program in Germany.
- For programs taught in German, you usually need to complete at least B2 (sometimes C1) German language proficiency before starting. B2 is the common minimum, but requirements vary by university and course.
- For programs taught in English, German language certification is typically not required. However, having basic German (A1 or A2) can help with daily life.
