Your IELTS score is valid for two years from the test date. For your January 2027 intake in Germany and the Netherlands, your score must be valid at both the time of application and enrollment.

Most universities require that IELTS scores are no older than two years at the time you apply. For example, some universities specify that scores must be valid when you submit your application.

Plan your IELTS test date so your score remains valid through application, admission, and visa processing. Taking the test within 18 - 24 months before your course start date is recommended.
