It depends on the type of master's program in Germany.
- Consecutive master's programs (directly after your bachelor's in a related field) usually do not require work experience. Admission is based mainly on academics.
- Non-consecutive master's programs (for career changers or those advancing in a different field) often require 1 - 3 years of full-time professional experience.
A one-month internship is generally not enough to fulfill work experience requirements for non-consecutive programs but can still strengthen your application by showing practical skills and industry exposure.
