How much do I need to pay for Uni-Assist fees in Germany for my university application?

The Current Per-Application Fee Structure

The first university or course application you submit through uni-assist in a given semester costs 75 euros, and each additional application in that same semester costs 30 euros. So if you apply to three courses in one semester, the total comes to 75 plus 30 plus 30, which is 135 euros. Being an Indian applicant does not change this fee; it is the same structure for all uni-assist applicants regardless of nationality. This is separate from any APS certification fees, which are paid directly to the APS process and are not included in the uni-assist handling fee.

When You Might Pay Nothing At All

Some German universities cover the uni-assist handling fee on behalf of applicants, which means that specific application can end up free even though uni-assist's general fee schedule still applies elsewhere. This varies by university and sometimes by program, so it is worth checking each university's own admissions page before assuming you will be charged the standard rate. Because the discount applies per university rather than across your whole batch of applications, you could end up paying full price for some applications and nothing for others within the same semester.
