How long is the post-study work visa duration in the US for MBA or MS courses?
In the US, after completing an MBA or MS, you can typically work for up to 12 months on Optional Practical Training (OPT), if your degree is not STEM-designated.
If your MS is in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field, you may qualify for an additional 24-month extension, for a total of 36 months of post-study work.
These durations are subject to change based on current US visa policies. For details on your specific course and eligibility, connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
