Your UK Student visa usually covers your full course duration plus extra time:

- Courses 12 months or longer: Course length + 4 months
- Courses 6 - 12 months: Course length + 2 months
- Courses under 6 months: Course length + 7 days

For most degree-level (bachelor’s) courses, you can stay up to 5 years in total, including any previous Tier 4 visa time. For postgraduate (master’s/PhD) studies, there is typically no maximum limit.

These rules are subject to change. If you need details for your specific course or intake, contact your LeapScholar counsellor.
