No, having a cash salary or cash transactions does not affect your UK student visa application, as long as the required funds are held in a bank account with immediate access.

- Funds must be in cash and available in your (or your parents’/guardian’s) account.
- Acceptable evidence: bank statements or a loan letter from a regulated lender.
- Not accepted: funds in pension, investment, overdraft, shares, or credit card accounts.
- Funds must be held for at least 28 consecutive days before your visa application, without dropping below the required amount.
