No, universities in the UK, Germany, and the UAE do not require a specific "IDP test." IDP is an organization that conducts the IELTS exam, which is widely accepted, but universities generally accept IELTS (by any provider), TOEFL, or other recognized English proficiency tests.

If you have a Medium of Instruction (MOI) waiver, you may not need to take IELTS at all.
