Yes, if you are using a loan to finance your UK studies, your loan provider must give you a letter confirming the loan details. This letter must:

- Be dated within six months of your visa application. - Include your full name and the loan amount. - State the loan is for educational purposes. - Confirm funds will be available before you travel to the UK. - Note that funds are only conditional on a successful visa application.

The loan must be from a government, government-sponsored student loan company, or a regulated educational loan scheme.

If a sponsor is supporting you, they must provide a letter on official letterhead with your name, sponsor’s details, support amount or confirmation of full coverage, and the sponsorship duration. This letter must also be dated within six months of your visa application.

If your sponsor is not covering the full amount, you will need to provide evidence for the remaining funds.
