Yes, you can show funds from your own or your parents' bank account for a UK student visa application - blocked funds are not required.

- Funds must be held in a personal (not business) account for at least 28 consecutive days.
- Bank statement must be dated within 31 days before your visa application.
- If using your parents' account, you’ll need a letter from them confirming permission and a document proving your relationship (like a birth certificate).
- Funds from accounts of other relatives (siblings, grandparents, etc.) are not accepted.
- Overdrafts, cryptocurrency, stocks, or unregulated accounts are not allowed.

All documents must be in English or officially translated. If you need help preparing your documents, contact your LeapScholar counsellor.
