Yes, for Germany, you typically need to show a blocked account (Sperrkonto) with at least €11,904 to cover one year of living expenses. This is the standard proof required for a German student visa.

For Ireland, a blocked account is not required. Instead, you must demonstrate access to at least €10,000 in liquid funds (such as personal bank statements or sponsorships) for living expenses, in addition to tuition fees.
