How does the cost of studying in Denmark compare with Germany, the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia for me?
→Denmark is moderately affordable for Indian students. Non-EU/EEA tuition at public universities typically runs EUR 6,000 to 17,300 per year, and living costs average around EUR 800 to 1,000 per month. That makes it costlier than Germany but cheaper than the USA, the UK and Australia.
What tuition fees will I pay at Danish universities like Copenhagen, Aarhus, DTU and Aalborg as a non-EU student?
→Non-EU/EEA students, including Indians, typically pay around EUR 6,000 to 17,300 per year at Danish public universities. Fees vary by programme, with DTU at about EUR 15,000 and SDU at EUR 10,800 to 17,300 from the September 2026 intake. Private institutions may charge more.
How much will an MBA cost me at Copenhagen Business School or other Danish universities?
→MBA tuition in Denmark varies widely, from roughly DKK 100,000 to DKK 390,000 or more. Indicative fees include about DKK 380,000 plus a DKK 17,800 non-EU fee at Copenhagen Business School, DKK 295,000 at Aarhus BSS, and DKK 420,000 for the DTU Executive MBA.
How much will a master's cost me at a public university in Denmark?
→Master's programs at public universities in Denmark cost international students between EUR 6,000 and EUR 16,000 per year, over a typical duration of 2 years. Private universities charge EUR 10,000 to EUR 20,000 per year. Fees vary by institution and course, so check each university.
If I want to try universities in Denmark or Sweden, will the price increase in that case?
→If you hold EU or EEA citizenship, tuition in Denmark and Sweden stays free, so your cost will not rise. Non-EU students pay 8,000 to 18,000 euros yearly in Denmark and 7,000 to 26,000 euros in Sweden, a noticeable increase if moving from a low-fee country like Germany.
