Can you share updates on UK as well if that's possible?
Here are the latest updates on studying in the UK for Indian students:
- Stricter student visa rules (from 1 June 2026): Universities must keep visa refusal rates below 5% and enrolment rates at or above 95%. These changes may affect university choices and admissions.
- Application deadlines for September 2026: Many universities have set deadlines between June and August 2026, but these vary by institution and program.
- Visa requirements: Higher maintenance funds are now required - £1,529/month for London, £1,171/month for other areas (subject to change).
- eVisa rollout: From 15 July 2025, UK student visas will be digital (no physical sticker).
- Post-study work visa (Graduate Route): Available for students who apply before 1 Jan 2027, allowing a 2-year stay after graduation (subject to change).
