To study in the UK, it’s important to follow the UK government’s security and application requirements closely. You’ll need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from an approved university to start your Student visa application. After applying online, you must attend a biometric appointment in India. You need to show proof of funds for your first year’s tuition and living expenses, with minimum maintenance amounts that vary by location. Funds must be held in your account for at least 28 days before applying. Indian students must also take a tuberculosis (TB) test from an approved clinic and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge for access to NHS services. Ensure all your personal and financial documents are accurate and up to date to avoid application delays. For any support or specific questions, please connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
