Can you explain how the GMAT test dates and availability work?
The GMAT is available year-round, giving you flexibility to choose your test date based on your schedule and application deadlines.
- Test centers: GMAT exams run on multiple days per week at authorized centers across India. Availability varies by city and center, with major cities often offering more slots.
- Online option: The GMAT Online exam is available 24/7, so you can take it from home at any time, including weekends and holidays.
- Booking: You can schedule your exam up to six months in advance or as late as 24 hours before the test, but popular dates fill quickly, especially from August to January.
- Retakes: You may take the GMAT up to five times in a 12-month period, with at least 16 days between attempts.
Test center slots are subject to change and can fill up weeks ahead during peak seasons. If you need help choosing a date or have questions about GMAT scheduling, connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
