Can my family come to New Zealand on dependent visas and work without a separate work visa once I get PR?

No, your family cannot work in New Zealand on dependent visas alone after you get permanent residency (PR). Dependent visas do not automatically grant work rights.

Even after you obtain PR, your spouse and dependents must apply for their own work visas to be legally employed. Separate work visa applications are required for work authorization.

If you need guidance on the right visa options for your family, your Leap counsellor can assist you.
