Can I work full-time while studying in UAE?
No, international students in the UAE cannot work full-time while studying on a student visa. You may work part-time - up to 15 hours per week during academic terms - if you obtain a part-time work permit from the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE) and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your university. Full-time work is only permitted during official university breaks.
Working without the proper permit is illegal and can result in penalties. For guidance on the application process, contact your LeapScholar counsellor.
