Can I use my NEET score to apply for medicine at Oxford?

No, Oxford does not take NEET scores as a substitute for its own admission requirements. As an Indian applicant you are judged on your school grades, your UCAT score and your interview, in the same way as every other applicant. Check the official Oxford page for current rules.

No, your NEET score will not replace Oxford's own requirements. Oxford assesses Indian students exactly as it assesses every other applicant.

Course Basics to Know

Oxford calls its medical degree BM BCh, which is equal to an MBBS, and the course code is A100. It runs for six years: the first three are pre-clinical and end with a BA in Medical Sciences, and the last three are clinical training in hospitals and GP practices. Indian students pay the same overseas fee as other international students, and seats for international applicants are very limited, so competition is tough.

My Advice

Put your effort into the UCAT, your school grades and interview preparation instead of NEET. Always confirm the latest admission rules on the official Oxford page before you plan your application.
