Can I finalize my application based on my current German language proficiency or should I improve my score for a Master's?

It depends on the language of instruction for your chosen Master's program.

- English-taught programs: Your current IELTS score of 6.5 is generally sufficient, so you can proceed with your application.
- German-taught programs: You must demonstrate German proficiency, typically at C1 level (such as TestDaF with at least 16 points, no section below level 3, or DSH-2). If you do not meet this, you should improve your German language skills before applying.

If you are unsure about your program's language requirements, discuss your options with your LeapScholar counsellor.
