Yes, from the Summer Semester 2027 intake, Indian students applying for Master's programs in Germany in fields like Engineering, Business, Commerce, and Finance must take the new Digital Master Assessment Test (dMAT).

- dMAT is required as part of the APS certificate process and tests general academic and subject-specific knowledge.
- First exam date: September 26, 2026
- Registration: June 29 to September 15, 2026

This is in addition to the APS certificate and language proficiency tests.
