Most German universities have closed applications for the Winter Semester 2026/27 as of late July 2026, with deadlines usually ending by mid-July.
Some private universities may still accept applications on a rolling basis or have slightly later deadlines. Public universities generally do not accept late applications for this intake.
If you haven't applied yet, consider preparing for the Summer Semester 2027, which starts in April 2027.
