Are there any options for dependent visas currently available in the UK or other countries in Ireland/France for a Postgraduate?

Yes, dependent visa options are available, but eligibility and conditions vary by country.

- UK: Dependents (spouse/partner, children under 18) can join students only if the student is enrolled in a full-time postgraduate research program of at least 9 months, or is a government-sponsored student on a course of 6 months or more. Financial proof is required. Dependents can work full-time, with some exceptions.

- France: Students in full-time programs of at least 6 months may bring a spouse and children under 18. Dependents must apply for a long-stay visa before arrival and can work after obtaining a residence permit.

- Ireland: Students in full-time recognized programs can bring a spouse and children under 18 through a "Join Family" visa. Dependents can work after receiving their residence permit.

Visa policies are subject to change.
