After completing my studies abroad, will universities or programs offer me 100% placement in UK/Italy for a Master's/PhD?
No, universities and programs abroad do not offer a 100% placement guarantee after your studies.
Most institutions provide strong career support, internships, and networking opportunities to help you become employable, but actual job placement depends on your skills, efforts, market demand, and current visa rules.
In the UK, you can apply for the Graduate Route post-study work visa, which currently allows you to stay and work for two years after a master's degree (three years for a PhD). From 1 January 2027, this will be reduced to 18 months for master's graduates.
In Italy, you may apply for a 12-month Job Search Permit after graduation, which can be converted to a work permit if you secure a job.
