Yes, after completing an online LLB, you must pass the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) - both SQE1 and SQE2 - before you can practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.
The LLB alone, whether online or in-person, does not qualify you to practice law. You will also need to complete two years of qualifying work experience and meet other regulatory requirements.
