What is the full form of NMDC?

The full form of NMDC is National Mineral Development Corporation. With around 30 million tonnes of iron ore produced annually from its mines in Karnataka and Chhattisgarh, NMDC Limited is India’s largest exporter and producer of the mineral.

It was founded in 1958 as a publicly traded company owned and run by the Indian government, India. Its administrative headquarters are in Hyderabad, India, and the Ministry of Steel of the Indian government governs it.
