What is the full form of MD?

The full form of MD is Doctor of Medicine. After completing a medical MBBS programme, students can pursue a 3-year postgraduate degree called an MD. After three years of training, an MD is recognised in nonsurgical fields. Candidates should have an MBBS degree to be eligible for the course since MD is a postgraduate level. The Joint Medical Services Exam is held annually by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to hire these physicians in various public organisations.
